On November 5 in Brussels, ENOS participated in the HL4EU Community Building Conference—an important milestone for the Healthy Lifestyles 4 Europe project, in which ENOS plays an active role. This impactful gathering brought together experts, policymakers, and advocates to advance collaborative efforts aimed at fostering healthy, active lifestyles throughout Europe. By uniting voices from diverse sectors, the conference highlighted the critical need for cross-sector partnerships to build sustainable public health strategies.

With the theme “Advancing Cross-Sectoral Collaborations for Healthy Lifestyles across Europe” the conference featured insightful presentations and discussions from leading figures in public health, policy, and research. Experts shared best practices and innovative approaches, emphasising the vital role of cooperation across sectors to address pressing health challenges, including the rise of non-communicable diseases.

A dynamic panel discussion explored ways to strengthen these partnerships and make healthy, active lifestyles accessible for all Europeans. The conversations reflected a shared commitment to shifting from curative approaches to preventive health models, underlining the wide-ranging benefits of physical activity and well-being for individuals and communities alike.

The conference also served as a platform to promote and invite endorsement of the Movement for Healthier Lifestyles, A Call to Action. This ongoing initiative seeks to mobilise commitment across sectors to create environments that encourage and enable active, healthy living. ENOS invites all stakeholders to endorse the Call for Action on “Enabling Cross-Sectoral Approaches for Healthy Lifestyles in Europe,” a collective effort to enhance quality of life, combat non-communicable diseases, and build more sustainable, resilient societies.

We invite everyone to join us by endorsing the Call for Action HERE. Together, we can make a difference for a healthier future across Europe.
