We are pleased to announce the hosting of ICOS+ International Congress of Outdoor Sports. The event will take place on June 25th , 26th , and 27th , 2025, in the city of Rio Maior, at the Sports Sciences School of Rio Maior – Santarém Polytechnic University, which is organizing the event.
ICOS+ will be a congress dedicated to the theme of Outdoor Sports, an innovative concept aimed at providing a holistic view of these sports practices, ranging from their touristic and economic importance to issues related to well-being, education and sports performance.
In this first edition, four key topics will be addressed, which will serve as the basis for plenary lectures and parallel sessions.

- Outdoor Sports Performance
- Health and Well-being
In addition to the scientific dimension, we aim to organize a wide range of activities: Physical activity as a catalyst for building relationships and partnerships, a diverse cultural program celebrating outdoor sports culture, roundtable discussions, and workshops.
